Powers Art Center

Events

Welcome!  The Powers Art Center is pleased to announce our official opening on July 7, 2014. We will be open to the public from 10:00AM  to 3:00PM, Monday through Thursday.  Please contact Melissa English, Director of the Powers Art Center for additional information, or send a message through our contact page.

We are pleased to open a new Exhibit of Jasper Johns Limited edition works on paper.  The Exhibit displays Jasper Johns works that feature his use of Iconic images, such as Targets, Flags, Numbers and the Alphabet.  The works span from 1960 to 2012.

This season we have a temporary exhibit of Robert Rauschenberg's works on paper from 1964 to 1975, recreating an exhibition that was loaned to The National Art Center Tokyo in 2013.

We also display many works by Takashi Nakazato, the well known Japanese ceramic artist from the Karatsu area of Japan.

Please send your contact information if you would like to be added to our e-mail list for future educational events.
